Hey there, new friend! I’m Jade Greenwell, a total succulent fanatic with over nine years of playing in the dirt (I mean, plant care) and landscape design under my belt. My love affair with these funky desert plants began during a magical trip to a botanical garden, and I’ve been obsessed ever since!
I created Succulents Plant Hub as a virtual hangout for plant lovers like us to swap stories, share tips, and have a blast growing our leafy green families. Over the years, I’ve become a bit of a succulent whisperer and made some awesome connections in the plant community.
You might’ve seen my work in some gardening magazines or stumbled across me chatting about my prickly pals at horticultural events. I’ve also had the pleasure of traveling the world, exploring succulent habitats, and discovering new favorites to add to my ever-growing collection.
Besides being a succulent enthusiast, I’m all about sustainable gardening, saving water, and enjoying the therapeutic goodness of plants. When I’m not up to my elbows in soil, I love hiking, snapping photos, and hanging out with my two adorable rescue pups, Luna and Sunny.

Hello! I’m Coral, one of the writers for Succulent Plant Hub. I want to be honest with you. I’ve killed some succulents. I didn’t mean to. I was trying my best not to! But when I first got started with these desert gems, I made some classic mistakes:
I thought “water sparingly” meant water a little bit every day.
I was pretty sure drainage was optional.
I used the same soil for my succulents that I used for my garden flowers.
It’s ok. By now, I’ve propagated WAY more succulents than I ever killed. As the years have gone by, I’ve not only learned how not to kill these fascinating plants, but how to make them thrive, flower, and produce more pups than I know what to do with.
